Fernley is located within a 1 1/2 hour drive from Lake Tahoe and some of the best snow
skiing on earth. For summer activities, there is Lake Lahontan, located just 20 minutes
south of Fernley on Hwy 95A in Silver Springs Nv, or Pyramid Lake, about a 45 minute drive
north of Fernley on State RT. 446.
